2008 Town & County Property Taxes
The period for payment without penalty ended on January 31, 2008.  Payments made in February must include a 1% penalty.

Payments from March 1 - 14 must include a 2% penalty.  From March 15 - 31, payments must include the 2% penalty plus a $2 fee.

The local collection period ends on April 1st; on that date a 3% penalty plus the $2 fee is due.  After April 1st, payment must be make to the Allegany County Treasurer.

2007-2008 Fillmore Central School District Taxes
The local collection period ended November 1, 2007.  If payment was not made before November 15th to the County Treasurer, the unpaid amount was relieved to your 2008 Town and County Tax Bill.

DECALS is about to get a perk-me-up overhaul.  The DEC is putting all licensing operations onto the Internet.  Transfer to the new system is expected to be complete by Spring 2008.

Change in Dog Licensing Law  - - Effective November 20, 2002
The mandatory age at which a dog must be licensed has been changes to four (4) months.  Rabies vaccinations may be administered at three (3) months of age.

The $3 Animal Population Control Fund surcharge will not apply to any and all dogs over 4 months of age on purebred licenses.

A $5 surcharge will be added to the fees for dogs identified as unlicensed during a dog census.
